To reach business owners, nonprofits and independent workers in the Treasure Coast Region of Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Palm Beach counties with the overall goal of helping us better understand the experiences and challenges related to obtaining funding resources for small businesses.
Results are now available from the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) COVID-19 Business Impact Survey. The survey was conducted during the month of March 2021 and received over 200 responses representing businesses from all four counties in the region.
This task force is charged with developing a pandemic economic recovery and resilience amendment to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Plan for the Treasure Coast Region. The task force will remain in force and effect until June 30, 2022 to coincide with the end date of TCRPC’s grant agreement with the U.S. Economic Development Administration to provide CARES Act Recovery Assistance to the Region.
FDEP is conducting a survey to get input on outdoor recreation around the state. The information gathered from these surveys will help inform how a successful regional recreation economy could work.
Through the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration, the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) received CARES Act Funds to address the near-term and long-term economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the region continues to deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, TCRPC has been working with many communities and organizations to assist with response and recovery. TCRPC is here to be a source of information and a resource for COVID-19 response and initiatives important to the Treasure Coast Region of Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Palm Beach counties.
